One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to get together with other women and have a party. After all, we do a lot of work when is comes to the holidays and we deserve some fun time. This was my second year doing a favorites party. There were a total of 13 attendees and 13 favorite gifts and 13 favorite foods. We all took turns talking about our favorite thing while munching on yummy food.
A list of the booty includes; christmas music cd, diet coke, dulce de leche, chocolates, wooden spoon, glitzy hair pin, notecards, razor, rice bag for keeping you warm, votive, 2011 calendar, and potpourri. After handing out our favorite things, we always have an item for discussion. This year was, "What was your most memorable christmas?" Last year was, "What was the worst christmas gift you every received?" while playing two lies and a truth. We had to guess which one was true. It is always so fun to get together and feel supported by one another, but most of all - laugh.
