Cupcakes!

 One thing I love about parties - CUPCAKES!  I love them!  They are so cute and come in so many flavors and colors.  You are only really limited by your own imagination.  A couple weeks ago I was in Pier 1 Imports and saw these on the clearance shelf - 28 cents a piece!  I snatched four of them up and took them home to get creative with.  I wasn't in love with the top of the cupcakes, but I thought we could fix that.

 I measured the top and then took a bunch of felt I already had and gave them a makeover with sprinkles.  What do you think?  So much better, right?  I thought they would be a cute decoration on a front door or on the walls at the party.

Here I took a canvas frame and stapled teal gingham to it and then mounted the cupcakes on it to hang on the wall like a piece of art.  Of course, if you do this, make sure your fabric is stretched extra tight :)
