Twinkling Light {Layer One}

One of my favorite things is little white lights.  I think I may have set a new record for myself this past Christmas with the amount of white lights I strung everywhere.  I love lights on backporches that give that warm glow and add so much atmosphere to an occasion.  So, for my first decorating layer I restrung some of my Christmas lights across my family room to bring that festive glow to my birthday party.

My walls are painted the color of butter (which would probably make my friend, Marnette, hungry since her favorite thing is butter) and with the lights it is so warm and inviting.  I love just sitting on my couch with just the twinkling lights on.  They make me happy!
