30 Day Photo Fun

 During the month of June I will be trying to participate in a photo challenge from a blog I occasionally read.  If you are interested in seeing the challenge list click HERE.  You are suppose to join a flickr group and post your pictures there, but that is too public for me and since there are only a handful of people who will see it on this page, I am posting them here.  Day One (June 1st) was self portrait. Yuck!  I don't enjoy taking pictures of myself.  I would rather someone else do it so they can tell what to do to get a great picture.  So, I decided to focus on something that I like about myself - my eyes.  They are blue, but can be gray sometimes or even green looking.  But I like them and I finally got one kid who has them too.  First photo is unedited and the second I had fun with a little.  I took these while sitting in my car during a rainstorm holding the camera in my hand.  Crazy I know.  I am really trying to get them good right from the camera so that editing is minor.  That's what the pros say to do anyway.  Then again, I'm no pro.
